Applies to: All Reolink NVRs.

If your Reolink NVR suddenly become unable to record nor playback and the HDD status is Error/Bad, please follow the troubleshooting tips listed below to solve the problem. There are several possible causes of the problem.

Cause 1. The cables of the HDD are loosening

Solution: Power off the NVR and open its cover. Then Unplug and re-plug the cables of the HDD. Put the cover back and power on the NVR to see if it works.

Cause 2. The HDD is faulty

Solution: Power off the NVR and open its cover. Replace the HDD with a properly-functioning one. Then put the cover back and power on the NVR to see if it works.
